人类使用可再生能源的原因主要有以下几点
1、科技的进步让此类能源更加“好用”。
2、化石能源是有限的，不仅其价格会日渐增涨，而且终会有枯竭的时候。
3、某些可再生能源（如风能、水力、太阳能）不会排放温室气体（如二氧化碳），因此不会增加温室效应的风险。
4、为了增进能源供应安全，减少对进口化石能源的依赖，并满足对可持续性能源的需求。
